Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10. This is a plain-language draft. Have a lawyer review it before launch.
What we collect and why
- Account: name, email, optional mobile, password (stored only as a one-way hash). To run your account.
- Your renewals: license type, number, business name, dates, notes, client names. To send reminders.
- Reminder contacts: emails and mobile numbers you add. Used only after the contact confirms, only for renewal reminders.
- Documents you upload: stored encrypted, visible only to you.
- Payments: handled by Razorpay. We keep the plan, amount, status and Razorpay IDs, never your card or UPI details.
- Security logs: sign-in events, IP address and device type, kept up to 12 months to protect accounts.
Who processes data for us
Our web host, Razorpay (payments), an email provider (SMTP), Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp reminders, if enabled) and an SMS provider (SMS reminders, if enabled). We do not sell your data and show no ads.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. Delete your account from the Account page and your renewals, contacts and documents are erased. Message logs are kept 180 days and security logs 12 months. Payment records may be kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
From the Account page you can download your data, correct it, withdraw a reminder contact, or delete your account. WhatsApp reminders stop if you reply STOP. For anything else, write to our grievance contact below.
Security
Passwords are hashed, documents are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and we log sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
