Documents you need to renew your Trademark Renewal
Gather these before you start. Renew with: Trade Marks Registry (IP India).

Registration details
Trademark number, class and date of registration.

Renewal form (TM-R)
Filed with the prescribed fee through the IP India portal.

Owner details
Current name and address of the registered proprietor.

Authorisation (if via attorney)
Power of attorney in case an agent files for you.
Before you file
- A lapsed trademark can be removed from the register, and restoring it costs more.
- Start at least 30 days before the expiry date so a rejected form does not push you past it.
- Requirements and fees can differ by state or city. Confirm the final list on the official site or with the issuing office.
- Keep clear PDF or JPG scans of every document ready before you begin.
