Documents you need to renew your Trade License (Municipal)
Gather these before you start. Renew with: Your Municipal Corporation / Nagar Palika.

Previous trade licence
Copy of the licence being renewed.

Property tax receipt
Latest receipt for the business premises, where the body asks for it.

Proof of premises
Rent agreement or ownership paper.

Owner ID proof
Aadhaar / PAN of the licence holder.

Other NOCs
Fire or health NOC if applicable to your business type.
Before you file
- Many municipalities charge a late fee or can penalise trading without a valid licence.
- Start at least 30 days before the expiry date so a rejected form does not push you past it.
- Requirements and fees can differ by state or city. Confirm the final list on the official site or with the issuing office.
- Keep clear PDF or JPG scans of every document ready before you begin.
