Documents you need to renew your Shop & Establishment License
Gather these before you start. Renew with: State Labour Department / Municipal body.

Existing registration certificate
Copy of your current Shop & Establishment certificate.

Proprietor / partner ID proof
Aadhaar or PAN of the owner / authorised person.

Proof of premises
Rent agreement or ownership document plus a recent utility bill.

Renewal fee challan
Fee depends on your state and number of employees.

Employee details
Some states ask for the current number of workers.
Before you file
- Rules differ by state, but delayed renewal can attract a fine.
- Start at least 30 days before the expiry date so a rejected form does not push you past it.
- Requirements and fees can differ by state or city. Confirm the final list on the official site or with the issuing office.
- Keep clear PDF or JPG scans of every document ready before you begin.
