The test takes a few minutes and the certificate is issued on the spot.
Before you file
- Driving without a valid PUC certificate can attract a challan.
- Start at least 30 days before the expiry date so a rejected form does not push you past it.
- Requirements and fees can differ by state or city. Confirm the final list on the official site or with the issuing office.
- Keep clear PDF or JPG scans of every document ready before you begin.
